Our pharmaceutical research and development facility located in St-Hyacinthe, Quebec, designs dosage forms that respond to market needs. Formulation development by scientists at the pharmaceutical R&D facility requires mechanical and physico-chemical characterization of new and existing products and the development of analytical methods to evaluate and ensure medication stability.

In line with the orientation taken by Vétoquinol to be closer to its clients, the R&D facility mission is to develop new galenic formulas and to improve existing ones for our veterinary products by collaborating with other units of our company to answer to the needs of the animal health market while abiding by Canadian regulations.
The facility also works on formulating new posological forms for our products, namely injectables, powders, boluses, creams and others in order to optimize manufacturing and analytical methods.

The collaboration within the different units of our company optimizes the time required to product launch expertise and quality transfer to production units, improving efficacy of production processes with the same high level of quality control that makes Vétoquinol a world leader.
