Swine Technical Data
This trial provides evidence to support the use of Pot-Pen in drinking water to manage Streptococcus suis infections in swine.
The findings of this trial strongly suggest that penicillin G potassium (Pot-Pen) efficacy can be related to diminishing tonsil contamination of Streptococcus suis.
A trial was conducted to assess two commercially available soluble powders and their global potential effect on starter pigs. A significant weight gain and a numerical reduction in PRRS morbidity were assessed where Super Booster was administered (referred to as Poly-Tonine A Super Booster No 1 in this document).
A trial conducted to assess the overall potential effect of Super Booster (referred to as Poly-Tonine A Super Booster No 1 in this document) on starter piglets. Pigs treated with Super Booster, either once or twice during the post-weaning period, had significantly improved weight gains over the placebo-treated controls.
